Hampton Roads Special Education Parent Support Group

Advocating 4 Kids is proud to announce a
“FREE” Parent Support Group

Who: Parents of children receiving special education services in the Hampton Roads area.

Why: To assist parents in rallying together to address unprofessional behavior by school staff, poor quality IEP’s, and the failure of school disctrict to use research based strategies to help our child learn.

What are we going to do: Parents will be encouraged to support each other, share resources and compare IEP’s to assure they are truly individualized to their child’s needs.

We will also attend School Board meetings as a group, to make sure our voices are heard.

For more information about dates, times, and child care please email
Judy Fischer at spedsupportgroup@aol.com
